The world of neurodiversity is rich, complex, and constantly evolving. More and more people are seeking reliable information about autism, and we're seeing this at Autismeportaal.nl as well. Over the past year, the number of visitors has quadrupled, and we now welcome an average of 140 visitors per week. We're incredibly proud of that!
This growth demonstrates a significant need for accessible, nuanced, and up-to-date information about autism. Parents, young people, professionals, and other interested parties find their way to our website, seeking answers, recognition, and deeper insights.
Edith: Our AI bot learns from your questions
A special feature of the Autism Portal is our AI bot, Edith. Edith is asked questions daily about a wide range of topics: from sensory processing to school choices, from social interaction to work and study. And every time a new question arises, we write a blog post about it. This way, our knowledge base grows along with your curiosity.
We're continuously training Edith. She now has a document of no fewer than 350 pages of unique texts attached to her digital brain. These texts are based on scientific insights, practical experience, and your questions. Together, we're building a platform that not only informs but also connects.
Thanks to our visitors
This development is only possible thanks to you. You ask questions, provide feedback, share experiences, and help us make Edith smarter and the Autism Portal more relevant. We sincerely thank you for that.
We warmly invite you to continue providing feedback. Do you have a question you haven't found an answer to yet? Let us know. See something that could be improved? Share it with us. Together we'll ensure the Autism Portal remains a place where everyone feels welcome and where information is accurate, helpful, and inspiring.
